Hello and happy Saturday! Whatever you’re up to, be it lounging by the pool or binge-watching Gilmore Girls before the new episodes come out (eek!), we hope you have a fantastic time!
As for us, we’ll be kicking off the weekend by enjoying some of latest faves. Here’s what we’re loving this month!
Tomorrow is a big day for me. 10 years ago, I woke up to a bright, warm day. The sun was shining, there was a buzz around my house, and I had family coming into town. Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” was on the radio pretty much every time I was in the car. I wore a sky blue shirt and peasant skirt, but nobody saw my outfit. Because it was hiding under a black polyester robe.
10 years ago, I graduated high school.
Last week, we talked about how the arrival of summer means vacations and travel. The sun’s shining, flowers are blooming, school’s out, and life is good. Who wouldn’t want to get out and enjoy it?! For those very same reasons, another very common summer occurrence is weddings!
We’ve all heard the phrase, “When you marry in June, you’re a bride all your life.” After all, our very own South Carolina half, Deborah, did just that! Since many of us will find ourselves attending weddings in the coming months, today I’m sharing my tips for being a best-dressed guest at any summer wedding!
Traveling with friends can be a great way to spend time with your favorite people while sharing the cost of a vacation. For those of you with long-distance friendships like ours, it can also be the perfect way to reconnect!
Since we’ve had the pleasure of travelling together a couple of times, we thought we’d share some of our tips and ideas for vacationing with friends. Enjoy!
Summer is almost here, and, if your summer is anything like ours, you’ve already got at least one or two trips planned. Plus, if you’re going to be stuck in the car staring at the road for all those hours, you have to have an epic playlist to go along with it. I’m talking about one of those sets of songs that you can blast at full volume with the windows rolled down.
The thing is, you have to make sure to have just the right songs for that playlist…
