Do you have that person in your life who is nothing like you, but at the same time is exactly like you? They’re quiet, and you’re kinda loud and crazy. They seem to have their life together, and you’re over here wondering what the heck is going on.
I know I do. It’s Sarah. My best friend. Don’t get me wrong, she can get loud and crazy, and I’d be willing to bet that she doesn’t have her life quite as together as I think she does (after all, do any of us really have it all figured out?). But she’s still awesome. Sarah is the kind of friend that everyone should have. She’s understanding, she’s kind, she’s smart, she’s funny, she’s beautiful, she’s sweet… pretty much every good quality you can imagine is all tied up and wrapped up in a Sarah-shaped package.
Traveling with friends can be a great way to spend time with your favorite people while sharing the cost of a vacation. For those of you with long-distance friendships like ours, it can also be the perfect way to reconnect!
Since we’ve had the pleasure of travelling together a couple of times, we thought we’d share some of our tips and ideas for vacationing with friends. Enjoy!
It turns out, even if you are technically an adult, you can still throw great parties with your friends for absolutely no reason. And, you can even make it a themed party!
We were both born at the end of the 80s, but the whole decade still has a special place in our hearts. We love the music, the movies, and the funky clothes. So, while I was still living down in Florida, we randomly decided that we wanted to throw an 80s themed party and invite a few friends.
It’s officially May, and we can hardly believe it. If your weather is anything like ours, it’s basically already summer! Muggy morning, hot afternoons, and the sun’s setting later and later, which we love.
So check out a few other things we’ve been loving this past month…
If you follow us on social media (insert shameless plug here), you probably know that last weekend we got together for the first time in six months! It was awesome! Deborah and Andrew drove down to Jacksonville on Friday and crashed at Sarah and Ryan’s house for a couple of nights. They were thrilled to play host and hostess and did their best to showcase all Jacksonville has to offer, in hopes of making Deborah and Andrew want to move there. Haha!
